Founder & President

With over twenty-five years experience in the legal search industry Ed Gerard has completed many high-level partner searches, group acquisitions and in-house search assignments for leading New York, national and international law firms and corporations. He is recognized as one of the leading legal search consultants in the industry.

Ed has managed teams of legal search consultants both in New York and nationally. Prior to moving to New York in 1994, he founded Gerard & Associates in Los Angeles in 1987 and Gerard & Associates Atlanta in 1992.

Ed received his J.D. in 1979 and upon graduation from law school he worked for the Law Office of Marvin M. Mitchelson, Esq. where he specialized in civil litigation, constitutional litigation and family law.

He shares his time between his offices in Manhattan and Santa Monica. He is active in many civic and human rights organizations and is a nationally exhibited sculptor and a published poet.
